What We Do
Real Life Psychology is a not for profit social enterprise offering community psychology projects in the south west.
Our Aims
We aim to provide flexible place based input for clients, staff and organisations looking to use psychologically informed care within their projects. We have trained hundreds of staff in trauma informed principles and aim to help them use a formulation based understanding of their client’s needs rather than a diagnostic approach to mental health.
“‘We have been working with Real Life Psychology for the past 2 years to provide psychological support services to rough sleepers and homeless clients who experience complex trauma. Throughout this time Dr’s Rygh and Morgan have used their wealth of experience to deliver training and support across homeless settings. This has helped to provide a Trauma Informed response across the sector and to help improve understanding on the effects of years of Trauma on complex lives and repeat homelessness. We are delighted with the work that they have undergone across the City and look forward to our continued work with them both’. ”
